Responsabilities

• Meet with the insured and collect information • Investigate the cause of loss • Validate the coverage included in the insurance contract • Take note of all documents relevant to the file • Coordinate with the various participants needed in the file • Estimate the damages and losses suffered • Negotiate settlements • Write reports to the insured

Requirements

• Claims adjuster certification (5A) issued by the AMF • Collegial studies in damage insurance • Minimum of 3 years experience
